Another great way these airlines are using social media to help their business is with Flickr. When people travel they take lots of pictures. Airlines such as Jet Blue have realized this and began to use it towards their advantage. I was recently on Jet Blue’s flickr page and was impressed by what I saw.
In their flickr group customers can post both photos and video’s. Members of this Flickr group can comment on each other photos and can add each other as friends…. encouraging relationship building. These members appear to be customers, fans and employees of JetBlue and from the comments are totally connecting.
