By now, it seems that almost everyone has tried their free trial on netflix.com. After a simple registration process you are able to rent any movie you can imagine. First you compile a list of the movies you want to watch. You are then able to rent one movie at a time for as long as you want with no late fees.
Netflix is clearly doing a few things right. As more and more people are becoming comfortable with online purchasing, Netflix saw a window of opportunity in online rental. Why would anyone want to go through the hassle of driving all the way to the rental shop only to pay five bucks for a one night flick? Netflix has plans starting from five bucks a month and with a diverse range of plans, you can have unlimited access to as many DVDs as you want. For movie lovers, Netflix is the best bang for your buck by far.

I also think NetFlix is so successful because they meet the pains of college students, specifically those on small rural campuses like Grove City College. I know a number of my friends have NetFlix account and prefer to get movies delivered to them instead of having to drive into town to find a movie they want to watch. NetFlix is a great idea that someone capitalized on – they found a pain and a way to solve it, and are now reaping the benefits.
I agree completely. NetFlix is a great service and it is so convenient. Many other companies have tried to duplicate this company, blockbuster being the most known. NetFlix came around about 5 years before blockbuster and in my opinion, they have never caught up. NetFlix movies get delivered faster and the website is easier to navigate. Yeah you get free in store movies with Blockbuster however, you have watch movies at a click of the mouse on your computer with NetFlix. NetFlix owners discovered a niche in the market and took advantage of it, resulting in a huge profit and success rate.
Its just so easy and so convenient. I have found every movie i have ever been looking for on netflix. Now that netflix offers the online video watching it just increases their appeal to college students greatly.
Not only are the comments above mine are correct, you can also stream movies to your T.V. with a XBOX 360, blueray player, TiVo, or other players. You can instantly download movies from Netflix and watch them on your T.V. Now that is really convenient!
