social networking

When i think of social networking, i think of Facebook. A way for friends to keep in touch and talk on the internet. It also allows for friends to express how they know each other. It gets down to the root of how people know each other. I also think it allows for people to fully express who they are as well. Users can send each other different gifts and even create groups that other users can join. When it comes to it, i think Facebook defines what a social network can do. The term social networking can be broken down. An individual is social if he communicates with other people. Networking is also about communication, but more of an individual taking the initiative to communicate. If there is an initiative then there is a purpose for taking the initiative to communicate. I think Facebook has used the internet to its advantage in creating a social network.
