What do we think when the word collaboration is mentioned? Well I think of people coming together to focus their attention or efforts on a particular issue or project. But how about a world wide collaboration? Don’t think this is possible? Well it is something we use every day.
World Wide Wikipedia. Well, the name everyone uses is Wikipedia but it might as well be called WWW. This is a world wide group effort. Just some facts about it:
- This is an online encyclopedia written by people all over the world (though monitored by Wikimedia Foundation)
- To date there are over 8 million articles in 253 languages!
- You may think that this is not a trustworthy site but experts have researched most of these art
